Gorakhpur,  The Purvanchal Niyuddh Academy, recognized by the National Martial Art Academy India, successfully organized the Niyuddh Karate Open District Tournament 2025 on Sunday, November 9, at Gurukul Secondary School, near Gorakhnath Hospital, Gorakhpur.

Players from various parts of the city participated enthusiastically and showcased impressive performances. The Gorakhnath Team secured the first position, followed by Rapti Nagar Team in second place and Shahpur Team in third.

In the fight category, talented athletes including Aparajita, Swastika, Erisa, Daatri, Ankita, Shivangi, Ishita, Shreya, Atharv, Vishnu Rai, Priyaranjan, Ayush Sharma, Rajveer Verma, Abhishek Jaiswal, Soham Kushwaha, and many others won Gold Medals. Several participants also earned Silver and Bronze medals in their respective divisions.


In the kata event, Ishita, Manya Mishra, Kriti Mishra, Aparajita Rai, Shanvi, and Ayush were among the Gold Medal winners, while many young athletes displayed great discipline and technique.

The tournament was conducted under the chief supervision of Mr. Dhirendra Pratap (President, Purvanchal Niyuddh Academy) along with a dedicated panel of referees and judges.

At the closing ceremony, Academy Secretary Mr. Yogendra Pratap congratulated all winners and participants, wishing them continued success and growth in the field of martial arts.
