Hapur. In a powerful step towards women’s safety and empowerment, Aparajita Amar Ujala, Hapur in collaboration with the National Martial Arts Academy, Hapur organized an impactful one-day Self-Defense Awareness Camp at JKP Balika Inter College, Hapur. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, who actively engaged in learning essential self-defense skills.

The camp was led by renowned Chief Trainer Master BK Bharat, who shared his extensive experience to train the students not only in physical techniques but also in building mental strength and confidence. He emphasized that self-defense is not just about fighting back, but about awareness, presence of mind, and the courage to respond effectively in critical situations.

During the session, students were trained in using a strong and assertive voice, understanding situational awareness, and identifying potential threats. Practical techniques such as punching, elbow strikes, and knee attacks were demonstrated and practiced, enabling the girls to respond confidently in emergencies.

A key highlight of the camp was teaching students how everyday objects like pens, hairpins, and keys can be effectively used as self-defense tools in unexpected situations. This practical approach significantly boosted the confidence and preparedness of the participants.

School Principal Ms. Parul Tyagi appreciated the initiative and stated that such programs are essential in today’s time, as they help in building not only physical strength but also mental resilience among girls.


The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation from the school management towards Aparajita Amar Ujala, Hapur and the National Martial Arts Academy for organizing such a meaningful and empowering program. The camp successfully instilled a sense of confidence, awareness, and self-reliance among the students.
