Greater Noida:
A Women Self-Defense Workshop was successfully organized at ITS College of Health and Wellness Science, Greater Noida, under the guidance of National Martial Arts Academy India (NMAA India). The workshop was conducted by Trainer Soni Bharat, aiming to empower young women with essential self-defense skills and mental confidence.
The session focused on personal safety, situational awareness, and practical self-defense techniques that can be used in real-life situations. Students actively participated and learned simple yet effective methods to protect themselves during emergencies.
Trainer Soni Bharat emphasized that self-defense is not just about physical strength, but also about presence of mind, confidence, and quick decision-making. The training included techniques for escaping holds, defending against common attacks, and building psychological strength to face challenging situations.
Faculty members and students appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the importance of such programs for women’s safety and empowerment. The workshop concluded with an interactive session where students shared their experiences and expressed increased confidence and awareness.
National Martial Arts Academy India continues to conduct self-defense and empowerment programs across educational institutions to promote safety, discipline, and confidence among women.
About Soni Bharat
Soni Bharat is a dedicated Women Self-Defense Trainer and the Coordinator of the National Self Defense Mission (NSDM). She is actively associated with National Martial Arts Academy India (NMAA India) and works extensively for women’s safety, empowerment, and self-reliance across educational and social institutions.
She has conducted multiple women self-defense workshops in schools, colleges, and community platforms, focusing on real-life safety situations, situational awareness, and confidence building. Her training approach highlights that self-defense is not only about physical techniques but also about mental strength, alertness, and presence of mind.
As the Coordinator of NSDM, Soni Bharat plays a key role in planning, organizing, and implementing structured self-defense awareness and training programs at the grassroots level. Her mission is to make self-defense education accessible, practical, and impactful for girls and women of all age groups.
Through her continued efforts with NMAA India and NSDM, she is contributing toward building a safer, stronger, and more confident society.
